Miss Money Making Money

OK it seems most people here let everyone know their financial goals and how they're gonna get them. I guess that helps somewhat in actually achieving your goals.
So I've actually always hoped to own a lap top since I became a college student. Since I've graduated, I want one even more now. And now that I got some steady income for the next few months, I'm definitely going to try to save AGAIN for my dream lap top.
I'm just going to set my goal to find a good deal on my dream lap top and to have the budget to purchase it sometime this summer of THIS year.

I always considered myself a penny-pincher (learned from my Dad), but when I actually started creating a budget, I was quickly forced to wake up to reality and admit I’m more like my Mom (and I mean similar in spending habits).

I learned so much about how, when, where, what, and why I spend my money on expenses that I could have easily prevented if I had managed a budget for myself in the beginning.
